@ Louis: I was puzzled by your statement. I witnessed Dave's ascent, and I was (until now) unaware that it was filmed at all. Edit: Couldn't help but to put a little more investigation into this.. The UTube video - though clearly showing Dave completing the crux section from the rest - is not actual send footage. Udo Newman fotographed the actual send from the ground (see gallery at: udini.de), and that day Dave climbed bare chested.
