| Iridescence (8b+) | Woaaaa! Been a while since I enjoyed a climb this much. Sustained climbing along a stunning feature, high up in the sky, this one feels pretty unrealll. Absolute try hard fighting the numbness on those gripz. A canyon must do. |

| Iridescence (8b+) | The hardest route in LCC. 18 moves of technical arete climbing that is on you from start to finish. The opening sequence is a 6 move v9 compression boulder to a bad rest. From there, flip onto the orange face and do a power crimping v8 boulder until reaching a perfect knob on the arete. Lastly, bust up the final arete sequence via some punchy moves that are very droppable. Honestly felt hard for the grade but my sport execution isn’t on par. Amazing line that has great exposure, movement, and aesthetics. The only take away is some of the holds are sharp and there is some glue. After 4 days, I finally clipped the chains after a limit battle on a cold windy day. Brent B with the FA in 2020. Sky Cragging is the ultimate vibe.. prove me wrong! |
