| Death Crack (7a+) | Death... I thought I'd put up another route on the Orange River crag that I found with some friends on holiday. It looked easy but a meter off the deck the jams felt wrong and there was nothing but crack (no face holds). Soon the route got pumpy and I shoved in my last big cam. The crack opened out and I got a high foot jam. Then I lunged up for a hand stack jam and it sunk in perfectly. I ran it out to the top and was shaking the rest of the day! |
