Children of the Corn (7a+) | When the rusted old bolts and hangers scare the bejeezers out of you but you still want to send it because it's such a great route. |

In Two Minds - first pitch (6c+) | Dorked the bottom sequence a couple of times, but manged to pull it together. Slab is a delicate dance, amazes me every time. Beware! There's a large loose flake half way up that is very tempting, but would recommend the more solid surrounding nubbins. |

Memory Lapse (6c) | Trusting the small nubbins is both terrifying and exhilarating. Appreciate the unique style Paarl offers. Placing heels are essential to aide the calf pump ;) |

Parklife Wimp (7a+) | Hardly a wimp version, over 30m of sustained crimp climbing to the second of the two fixed draw lower offs on Parklife (i.e just before Parklife crux). Finger, toes, calf and brain marathon. Guess at grade, at least 25 - probably 26. Whole route is getting harder as more crimps break off. |

The Voodoo Hoopoe (7b) | Thanks to Rach for the patience and David for golden belay. Boulder start (shared with Chicken Run) felt totally desperate and about 7c+, but in cold conditions managed to stick to the tiny hold. One move wonder crux into cool laybacks and pods. Consensus grading needed. |

Fragile Existence (8a) | Such a sick rig. Technicality on little pebbles and nubbins. Flowing through strange body positions over the rock. I put a couple glue dollops behind the big flake, felt it might break without it. The crux is just bonkers. Psyched to have done this. Props to Joe Mohle FA'ing a quality line. Well bolted. For those wondering, the line takes the left side of the enormous flake shared with 'Shadowland' at the Cobalt Blue Wall. |
