The Care Bear Traverse (6c+) |
25 Feb 2022
| |||||
Amaro vecchia romana (7a+) | Start on Casarotto route, then on "Crux del sur", then 6 new pitches straight on the headwall. The most direct line of the Goretta pillar. Amazing cracks and flakes like in yosemite, 1300 meters of climbing to the top of Fitz Roy. |

Pilar este (7a+) | 1350 meters of route on the impressive Fitz Roy East face, opened by Ragni di Lecco in 1976 and still unrepeated. Unfortunately we managed to climb only the first 750. Brilliant, outstanding climbing when cracks are free of ice and snow, a nightmare otherwise. Freed the first 500 meters up to 7a+. Conditions for free climbing are as rare as water in a desert |

Afanassieff (6a+) | A massive journey up Fitz Roy's north face. Something like 40 pitches with an odd move of aid here and there. Trailhead to summit in 35.5 hours with Bruce Miller. Three days total. |
