| Brute Us (7C+) | Words will not convey the craziness that was today. It snowed 8+ inches yesterday, I did not realize this was going to be the case. I thought maybe 2. Black Mountain was truly a winter wonderland today. You literally could have snowboarded down the road. The trees were all plastered with snow. A first for me to see trees rouse and slowly shake off all the fresh snow from the day before. 24 hours ago there was no snow on the trees, at the start of the day they were plastered, at the end of the day they once again had nothing. To be bathing in sunlight while watching snow fall all around you, the sounds of water and snow plopping all around you. So crazy. Snow can be so quiet but today it was loud and boisterous and craving attention. Amazing how such a simple act of snow falling creates a unique unending cacophony of sound. Made for some very annoying we hiking / climbing conditions but incredibly memorable and happy memory. Thank you drew for being one of the only people I could truly enjoy a fucked up day like this with. Sorry about your back, your survivability is top notch. This climb was kinda wet and despite terrible skin sheer desire saw me to the top. |

| Sigh of the Liger (7C) | From what I've gathered from this 8a logbook: the beta is to go left, but not too far left otherwise its off, feel a sensation of going to throw up, and it should feel in the ballpark of soft v6 - soft v11. Can confirm this feels accurate. |
