| 40 is the New 20 (8A+) | Very satisfying to finally do this move. First loooked at this boulder in 2015 or so, and tried it some over the years thinking it was harder single move than I could do. It’s hard to establish and one very hard move. No idea what the grade is but deserves some attention for sure. Start left hand pinch, right hand small sidepull crimp. |

| Il Ritorno (8B) | Super psyched to have finished this one. Was a project for a long time, tried it first in 2015 maybe?, broke a hold on the crux in 2018 amd wasn’t sure it would go. It also means a lot as I’d been struggling a lot lately with aging and wondering if I still could climb at this level and for how much longer. All that training all winter paid off though, and all the garage sessions and weighted pull-ups with Grod and Big Moé too. Figured out a good method for the top and it finally all came together today. Great conditions and finally put it down. I’ve wanted this one for a long time and was happy to open it today. Not sure on the grade, but seems harder than all the 8A+. |
