Crack of doom (7A) So nice! Beautiful and striking line on this mega rock! This one climbs easier than Høydaren to the left of it, but the landing is so bad with a big rock right under the landing zone, you just don't want to fall on this one, had decided for the beta and just went for it after Sensei showing the way, found the flow, which I rarely do :P and felt as if I floated up the boulder, it's moments like this that makes climbing so fun :D We didn't understand the line "Disponert for Framgang" which is drawn between "Høydaren" and "Crack of Doom", though, how do you differentiate between the latter and "Disponert for Framgang"? Anyways, a mega weekend out climbing with the usual suspects as always! So fun to see the kids growing up and getting stronger and more technical on real rock :D

Høydaren (7A) Nice and high with top moves! What's not to like? Didn't feel sketchy because the landing was nice and flat :P

Kruses mantel (6B) Hard for the grade and ugly :P No way a 6A, at least a 6B/6B+, maybe if you're much taller? Had to start with a left toe hook on the start rail of Diagonalen, and when you reach the lip, you still have the physical mantle left and with the tree in the way, this is really not a cool boulder :P

So sharp! :P
Englestøv (7B) 7A+ before, but a broken start hold has made this problem a 7B. A funny and memorable send: I tried to figure out the first big lunge move to the lip with Sensei, because we didn't want to crimp a razorblade in the heat, but ultimately found out that we had to crimp hard on that said razorblade of a sharp left starting hold :P It was a last ditch and classic last try best try scenario, where I acted like an angry testo bro for the fun of it and the kids joined in, I pulled on and latched for the lip and to my surprise I stuck the first crux move, all the while the kids was screaming their lungs out behind me, almost made me lose my concentration, too :P Fortunately I tested the top moments before, but with the boulder not being climbed on for a while, it was a bit lichened a quite slippery in the sun. This made for a fun and spicey top out :P
