Quality or Quantitatively scoring

Quality climbing and (or) Quantitatively scoring   14/11/09

Debate/Jens: A/Moving on rock surrounded by nice scenery and friends are my base of quality climbing. Often I am also in it for the B/challenges solving sequences, but sometimes I also want to send a certain C/grade, ad to my scorecard and D/compete with my friends.

Some climbers have always been obsessed with grades and make the headlines in the media. 8a would like to promote quality climbs and therefore we give low priority for quantitatively scoring. However, we encourage climbers to create new challenges by obscure variations and eliminations etc, in order to train for progress, but we recommend you to keep track of them as "log-book/no score", if you want to name and grade them.
