Laura Rogora właśnie stała się pierwszą Włoszką, która pokonała 9a. Jej ofiarą padła linia Grandi Gesti w Sperlonga, 20-metrowe wyzwanie w dachu. W zeszłym roku czternastolatka wygrała mistrzostwa Włoch w boulderingu i w prowadzeniu, choć - żeby było jeszcze ciekawiej - trenuje prawie wyłącznie na hali boulderowej. W tej chwili Laura jest pierwsza w naszym rankingu.

"Zajęło mi to około 15-20 prób na przestrzeni półtora miesiąca. Nie trenowałam specjalnie pod tą drogę, bo moim celem jest trening pod zawody. Teraz muszę zacząć ostro pracować, szczególnie pod kątem młodzieżowych mistrzostw świata, które odbędą się w Chinach w listopadzie. Na pewno będę kontynuować wspinanie w skałach. Planuję wycieczkę do Hiszpanii w kwietniu, myślę, że będę się wspinać w stylu onsight."
