Arapiles Hardest Route

NUMBERS

8 November 2012

After a quick ascent of Punks In The Gym 32, the first repeat of Snakes on a Train (32) amongst a whole host of other impressive ascents (such as flashing both pitches of Serpentine 29, Wagalak 29, and onsighting Eye Of The Tiger 29), it may come as little surprise that young gun from NZ (originally from the UK?) Wiz Fineron has claimed the long standing project at Arapiles, Somalia 33. This was a much lusted-after route with both Zac Vertrees and Ben Cossey also having their hats in the ring. -- LC
