8C+ by Adam Ondra

Tuesday, 6 December

Alta-Montagna reports that Adam Ondra has done the first repeat of Christian Core's 8C, Goia in Varazze giving it a personal grade of 8C+ which actually confirms speculations from others. Adam had previously done the 8B stand start and today he was also able to add the first 8B-ish seven moves into it. Core video. One month ago, the 18 year old did open a 8C+ and earlier this year he has done four 9b's as well as onsighting seven 8c+. In the world championship in Arco he was #2 in Boulder and #3 in Lead. In 2010, he won the Boulder WC and in 2009, he won the Lead WC being 16 years old. (c) Roberto Armando
