"Thinking/Alert" stone in chalk bag 

Training/Jens: Most of us know our weak points and even if we train and focus on them, up on the route, we just continue in the same old track. Write them down, and put the piece of paper or a symbolic stone in the chalk bag, as a reminder. Once climbing, you might have forgot about the breathing, the resting, the crimping thumb or some technical issues as you are in the automatic "no-thinking-zone".

But as soon as you start chalking, feeling the odd thing in between your fingers, you will remember what to focus on.
