The seventh and last Boulder WC will take place in Munich 17-18/8 and it is a two + two person battle. Jernej Kruder and Miho Nonaka are in forefront. Tomoa Narasaki needs to be #9 or better and beat Jernej to win and Akiyo Noguchi needs to be #2 and beat Miho to win. Complete rankings

According to the IFSC website, Tomoa's worst finish is 11th, worth 31 points, where Jernej's worst finish is 8th, worth 38 points. (http://www.ifsc-climbing.org/index.php/world-competition#!type=ranking&cat=ICC_MB&cup=18_WC&detail=1)

Subtracting their worst scores means Tomoa is actually slightly ahead of Jernej: 365 vs 362. Tomoa wins the season so long as he beats Jernej in Munich, no matter where they place.

In a similar way, Akiyo actually is 10 points ahead of Miho: 430 vs 420. So Akiyo wins the season, so long as she finishes within 10 points of Miho in Munich.
