Counting four out of five before the last WC in Vail in June.
1. Adam Ondra CZE 284 - Janja Garnbret SLO 400
2. Tomoa Narasaki JPN 260 - Fanny Gibert FRA 243
3. Anze Peharc SLO 193 - Akiyo Noguchi JPN 240
4. Kokoro Fujii JPN 190 - Jessica Pilz AUT 194
5. Jakob Schubert AUT 184 - Petra Klingler 180
6. Jernej Kruder SLO 182 - Futaba Ito JPN 178
7. Alexsey Rubtsov RUS 180 - Katja Kadic SLO 147
8. Rei Sugimoto JPN 171 - Shauna Coxsey 145
Complete results

In practice, the overall male title is a battle in between Adam Ondra and Tomoa Narasaki although all Top-5 can in theory win. If Tomoa wins in Vail, Adam need to be runner up.

If we count the four best results Janja has 400 points as she has won all five events.

And why would you count only four? Best five results of the season are counted for the world cup...

If we count all five, Rubtsov is #3 but this does not show the result the best way. Rubtsov's worst result is #10 = 34 so he will have harder to score in the final competition. Kokoro's did not participate in Munich so he has better chances to score in Vail although he is 24 points below Rubtsov if we count all five.

No matter what speculations you made, Janja has and will still have after Vail 500 points...

Janja had secured the overall title before Munich. What is interesting now is who will be #2.

In the IFSC list, Fanny has 268 and Akyo 240 but in reality it is much closer as Fanny has participated in all.

From IFSC rules:
12.17 The maximum number of results counting toward the World Cup Ranking will be:
A) when five (5) or less competitions are organised, all results;
B) when six (6) or more competitions are organised, the number of competitions less one (1). If
a competitor has competed in more competitions that the maximum number of counting
results, the competitor’s ‘worst’ result shall be discarded

so if Janja doesn't go to Vail it has 500 point, if it goes... it has 500 points no matter the result there's no reason to count the results for 4 out of 5 competitions

The reason why we count all but one is to present the best possible rankings for everyone but Janja.

Please note that Rubtsov is #3 if we count all five but in reality he is #7.
