Girls climb as hard as the boys

During many years, we have seen that females are getting closer to male performances and for teenagers it seems that the best girls and boys are nowadays at the same level. Margo Hayes, Ashima Shiraishi, Janja Garnbret and Laura Rogara have set new standards for the girls showing that rock climbing is an unique sport when it comes to gender equality. In bouldering the male teenagers are still ahead but among the teenagers born 2000 and later Ashima Shiraishi is #1. And for the non-teenagers, Oriane Bertone is also at the very top. Girl power!
