This article covers a lot of the reasons. It boils down to men being taller, having a better reach, having a higher percentage of fast twitch muscles, and having better recruitment. There are probably some dynos that favor more flexible or lighter climbers but most tend to be straight forward big jumps. The good news is, a person's jumping ability isn't set in stone. If one wants to jump higher, start training. Also, many females are discouraged (SHAME!) from climbing dynamically or powerfully so they don't train/attempt dynos. Same reason I was terrible at crimps and technique for years :P.
Dynos: Why do women struggle with them, or do they?
