Prohibited driving in Cresciano

In Cresciano / Switzerland there is a new prohibition sign on the road to drive up from the village to the boulder area. The community of Cresciano offers a new, free parking area down in the village (signposted Parking Boulder). As season started here in the last weekends, nobody seems to care about this new rules. This is on one hand really stupid and ignorant and will cause serious problems in the area. On the other hand it is expensive - I have seen people paying a 150.- CHF penalty for driving up there. Its seems unfortunatly to be the only way that people stop driving up there. May be this warning on 8a.nu could help to avoid further problems. By the way: The walk up by the direct path is 10 to 15 minutes and is shorter than it seems driving up the road.

how come this does not appear on the front page ? anyways, good to hear some people had to pay. in addition it should be said that people who park their car down in the village should use the Boulder Parking instead of using all the parking right infront of the prohibition sign that is normally used by the people living there. It only adds another 100m walk, but last week there haven't been more than 2-4 cars at the official parking. I don't understand why everybody thinks he is special and is allowed to drive up the road while others have to take the walk.

Some idiots who think they can claim to be locals because they climb there every weekend started to complain and spread rumors saying that this will be great bussiness for the true locals (eg payed pass or bus to park up). they also say that they will stop going to Cresciano. Imho, if this will be the result, just good :D uh,the walk up is very nice and not that long! try it before talking!!!
