HP 40, Conditions

I have next week off and was planning on going down to HP 40. I checked the forecast and they're calling for rain Friday through Sunday, a 40% chance. Are there any locals or frequent HP 40 visitors who could comment about the conditions? Based on your experience, does "few showers, 40% chance" mean much? Should I ignore the forecast and go down, or should I change destinations?
I remember from the one time I was there, that HP40 has an interesting micro climate. Don't know much more unfortunately, but it's kind of on a hill so I'd guess that it's more wet than the average area around.
The slopey feautres tend to dry out very quickly on top of the hill.  This is later than you'd originally sought advice, but for future climbers...the rock tends to dry out with gusts of winds often.  1 day after any storm will usually be dry for a great second day or a decent night session. The temps  will be lower than usual for the S.E. and it should help friction tremendously and drying out if it were to rain.  The weekend was great but gloomy with not much sun either day.
