Index?

Just out of curiosity: In the "crags" section of this website, the routes have an "index" number and an OS/F rating (along with the stars for quality). What is this index?

Stars (maximum 3) + OS/F (maximum 3) * ascents = Index In the future we will add bonus points for 'recommended route'. We will also take away points for 'Poorly/Mainly Chipped' climbs.
