| Too Big To Flail (8b) | The famous Honnold climb in Reel Rock 7. Such an incredible piece of granite. Marble smooth crimps up a 50ft face. Slung the knob with one piece of webbing on top of the climb to create a TR anchor. This is the most minimal anchor in the history of this boulder. I climbed the boulder with no falls bottom to top-out yesterday after more than 2 months of preparation. Yes i plan to go for the solo. The most important step of this process is complete. I found out this problem is possible. After some more beta practicing i'm psyched to climb it free. I believe i am the shortest person to ever climb this boulder in any particular style, a solo is in the near future :) Follow me on Instagram @gtraversi for more news and updates! |
