| Zeus (8c) | 07.09.2017: "Zeus: 8c"! First Ascent of the last and hardest Project in the Uhu - Rock Area. It's a beautiful overhanging climbing area with 5 pure, natural granite Lines. Some years ago I climbed the Line Mephisto 8b+ on the same wall and saw an additional open Project to the right of it, which maybe could be an interesting Project for the future. This year I was really motivated to try it. The first hard part of the Line, straight after the beginning moves, includes a really hard, explosive overhanging slab belly Boulder Problem (3 Crux moves directly into 11 force - endurance Boulder moves) around the Fb.8a - Fb.8b Boulder degree. After the transmission moves is following the next Boulder, which consists of a dynamical jump. After the jump are following again 11 moves until the anchor. Overjoyed I reached the Top of the Line and called it Zeus. Repeated it again several times. |
