The Spectre (7a) | Four pitches of varied and high-quality climbing at the north end of the Grand Wall. I call it a flash since Em fed me really good beta for the crux pitch. I led pitches 1-3 and Em led pitch 4, the magnificent, 38-metre finger crack corner. |

The Grand Wall (6c) | Multi-Pitch. Hiking off the grand wall via the belly good ledge is terrifying. Did not resort to the belly scoot. |

Nanook (7a+) | This route took several forays before accomplishing a continuous free ascent with Kinley Aitken. Led the odd # pitches this day, and have led the even pitches previously. A bit of must do, fits the North Walls archetype. Pitch breakdown is 5.12a, 5.11b, 5.11c, 5.9 ow, 5.10c |

Long Time No See (5c) | A nice long route on the North Apron. The wide section on pitch two is a bit of a grovel (for me, anyway). |

Grand Wall (6c) | I think my most significant climbing achievement even though it felt well within my abilities in the end. Got up at 4am to be the first ones on in traditional NC alpine style. Represents big improvement in trad climbing for me and it's clear I have come a long way since Leif and I tried a while back. Super psyched. Classic right up the middle of the wall with many different styles of climbing. The Blancos still hanging on by a thread. Thanks to Chrissy for the support. |
