Worth The Weight (8a) This line has all the things! Hard bouldering to start, then a very technical dihedral, to a beautifully exposed prow finish. I've been up it 5 times now and it clearing is requiring much effort for me; the rope bouldering off the ground is hard but in my wheelhouse, however, dihedral style is quite foreign to me, but I'm learning with every attempt. Some notes on micro beta learned this weekend: -LD3 tape for the pocket -sink low for the L gaston move -R kneebar for second crux -left hand hogs/crimps the sloper for the big move -L kneebar clip before the traverse -R kneebar no-hands rest entering dihedral -stem/palm rest at bottom of dihedral -R finger jam at the top of the dihedral to clip, then change to 4-fingers to do next move -L hand bad pinch with L high smear and right knee drop/bar -R side pull with thumb-catch, high R foot to go to L arete pinch -R knee drop/bar on vertical rib to go next R side pull -crimp R side pull then switch L pinch to meathook before moving R foot to square foot and L foot high under mini roof, then reach around corner to good L edge, transition feet and clip
