| Sretan Put (7a) | One of first routes bolted in Dariva, got its name for wishing Edin Durmo "sretan put" to his home in Zenica after bolting. Dariva, at the time, was becoming one of the first sport climbing crags in the country. First Bosnian 7a route. FA by Mirza Masnic. When it was bolted it was rumoured to be 8a, and is not to be tried due to being too hard... until Mirza have set his eyes on it. He already started training specifically for sport climbing and did FA fairly quickly. On our surprise, part of climbing community at the time doubted his ascent :D. Beta used for FA was more on 7a+ side, which made most of 7th grade FAs that followed being sandbagged. Continuous, slightly overhanging with the crux in the second part... true power endurance, now polished, test piece! Four stars only due to being polished, other than that it is a pure five star line! |
