Aussies Nathan Hoette and Heather Trevarthen have been having a blast in Europe. Nathan's favourite place so far is Rodellar and the La Pincenetta sector particularly, where amazingly overhung 50m long pitches tower above a stunning green pool. Nath is climbing well as always, and is one route shy of an entire tick of the impressive Las Ventanas sector, amongst other feats. Nath reports Heather "ticked much more than me!". A stack of routes including such classics as Gracias Fina 8a and A Cravita 8a (29).

In France at Ceuse, Nath copped a "thrashing" on three 8c+ (34) routes and had "a great time :)" Heather enjoyed the challenge of the tough Petit Tom 8a (29). On their first visit to St Leger, they found "a beautiful place with sooo many good routes!". Nath was particularly impressed by the long routes (up to 45m) which weave out massive caves and managed a host of routes up to 8c/33 and onsights to 8b/31.

They'll now journey back south to Spain to escape the rain in France and we wish them the best in their continued climbing adventure.
