5 000 boulderers in Melloblocco

Planet Mountain has the full report of the 12th edition of Melloblocco, which gathered more than 5 000 boulderes from 50 countries. In the "competition", Janja Garnbret (16, pictured below) went for a solid win among the girls. Maybe not such a big surprise after all, since last year she did an 8A+ and this year she has onsighted an 8b, apart from having won practically all the comps that she has entered. Last time we learned that she did not have a shoe sponsor, so we forwarded the news to La Sportiva. Here are the full results based on a maximum of ten boulders. 9: Stefano Ghisolfi, Adam Ondra, Martin Stranik and Anthony Gullsten. 8: Gabriele Moroni and Francesco Vettorata 7: Jacopo Larcher 6: Nalle Hukkataival and Stefan Scarperi 7: Janja Garnbret (16) 6: Katharina Saurwein 5: Barbara Zangerl and Jenny Lavarda
