9a+ by Ashima Shiraishi (13) in Santa Linya

Ashima Shiraishi comes with some amazing news on Instagram, which means she is the first female to have done a 9a+. - OMG!!! I sent my 4 day project Open Your Mind Direct 9a+, in Santa Linya!!!!!! The beginning is a hard boulder problem which leads into a pumpy route. After a hold broke off up high, local climbers said that the route became harder which changed it from 9a to 9a+. I was able to be the first person to send the route after the hold broke off! Thanks for the encouragements. Ashima did her first 8c+ two years ago and she has also done two 8B+ boulders. Measuring tick lists, she has been #1 in the world since she was 11 years old. Last autumn, she won over Alex Puccio, #2 in the last Boulder World Championship, in a bouldering comp. Adam Ondra made his first 9a+ when he was 15 years old and the last year only a dozen climbers have done 9a+. NY Times interview from 2013 where she explains that she trains 5-7 times, spending 25 - 35 h, a week including transport. Has there ever, including all sports, existed a 13 year old that dominate the scene as Ashima does?
