Jorgeson & Caldwell make their 7 year dream

Kevin Jorgeson and Tommy Caldwell just made climbing history by topping out The Dawn Wall in good style after 19 days on El Capitan. For seven years it has been a great project that now has been accomplished. "So proud of Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson for conquering El Capitan. You remind us that anything is possible.” - Barack Obama Kind of funny, three days ago, Kevin wrote on Twitter. "To anyone writing about #dawnwall, this is not an effort to "conquer", it is about realizing a dream. The route has 32 pitches and is over 900 meter long including three 9a pitches. NY Times publish yet another long article with picture on their cover. It just might be that we are about to see a major breakthrough for the climbing scene world wide! Here you can vote for Tommy Caldwell as the National Geographic Adventurer of the Year.
