Change format of the Combined title or skip it

Sean McColl had an amazing season being #2 and #6 in the Lead and Boulder World Cup, winning the Combined title in a superior style. However, as the interest for doing both disciplines is almost non existent, maybe something about the regulations should be done? Adam Ondra came second based on having done one WC Boulder and Domen Skofic two, where he ended #18 and #33. In fact, counting points, Jakob Schubert would have been #2 but he did not do any Boulder WCs. One alternative could be to calculate the results on a maximum three events per disciplines which maybe would have increased the interest for more participants or that Ondra could have given McColl a real fight by just doing one more comp. Among the female, Akiyo Noguchi took a great victory being #10 in Lead and #1 in Boulder. Otherwise, it is like among the male, no other did actively participate for the Combined title. This also confirms that it is a bad idea to suggest that we can make the Olympics by Combining all the three disciplines. Overall, Sean competed in 23 IFSC events included also six Speed World Cups. Runner up was Akiyo Noguchi with 14 events.
