Abyss 9a (8c+) by Maxime Clerc

Clerc Maxime has done Abyss in Gorges du Loup giving it a personal grade of 8c+. It's a 20m route with a pure and unique column in a 45° to 70° roof and it is 100% natural. "I'm trying Trip Tip Tonik the 9a at the left of Abyss and it is much harder. It seems like many of the routes in Gorges du Loup, where most of the routes are chipped, are subject of being down graded. On the picture by Jean Delbecq, Maxime does Hot Chili X.
