Slovenia (2 M) - Best in the World Championships

Slovenia did get the best result in the two World Championships 2014. Four climbers were Top-5; Jernej Kruder and Mina Markovic were #2, Domen Skofic #4 and Maja Vidmar #5. The second best country was Czech Republic (Adam Ondra) followed by Germany, Austria and France who all got two Top-5 results. In the last Euro Youth Boulder Championships, Slovenia with just 2 million inhabitants and no big climbing gym, were also the best country with two golds, two bronzes and Another four guys Top-7. In fact, Slovenia has been one of the very best competition countries since 2001 when Martina Cufar won the Lead World Championship.
