Everything is ready for the fourth edition of the Dimarock International Climbing Master. From May, 21 to May, 25 the Dimarock08 will be for five consecutive days a world sport climbing party with some super innovative proposals in the competition format and a super intense program.

Show & Emotion, this is the motto of the recently born International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), and in the Dimarock08 this words will reach standards never seen before in this sport which is on the way to become Olympic.

These are the keys to understand the Dimarock08:

- IFSC official event. This is the first official competition of the 2008 season.

-The masters will take part in 2 competitions. Difficulty-speed duels and the difficulty Master (Chris Sharma, Maja Vidmar, Patxi Usobiaga, Irati Anda, Tomas Mrazek, Emily Harrington, Michael Fuselier, Muriel Sarkany, Eric López, Caroline Ciavaldine, Magnus Midtboe, Mina Markovic).

-Basque Country Championship and International Open. With a competition system based on the difficulty-speed duels, very attractive for the audience as well as for the competitor.

-Basque Country team style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">vs World Masters. Baltzola Cave will foster the first appointment for the Sport Climbing Basque Country team. The competition moves from the plastic to the real rock. The best Basque climbers playing off against the best world climbers in this discipline.

- style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Dimablok. Boulder in its pure state for a competition format never seen before. 4 climbers and 4 boulder problems. Every climber will set his own boulder project and will challenge the others to climb it. The boulderers might try to do their own problem besides of the others'. Euro 2.400 will be at stake. Every boulder problem will be worth euro 600; this money will be shared among those who send it. It's not all about power and technique, but also strategy and competitive vision. Incredible competition with the best climbers: Chris Sharma, Tomas Mrazek, Dani Andrada and Joseba Sáinz.

- style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Herriblok. Boulder for the folk. Have yourself a go in the boulders suggested by Dani Andrada and Joseba Sáinz. Besides of bouldering like crazy, you can get a lot of prizes.

- style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Conferences. With Josune Bereziartu and Rikar Otegi; Silvia Vidal; Martín Zabaleta; Marimendi's project; tribute to Miriam García.

-Climbing for the children. Every afternoon.

-Climbing, Mountain, Tourism and Travel Fair.
